Ah yes, even in idealistic endeavors like ours we must conform to prudent legalities. On this page we have the rules of engagement, or in legalese, "Terms and Conditions of Use." These spell out the bounds of what we offer and what you, in return, must do to ensure that you use our material in an equally honorable and legal manner.

First of all, I know that some of you are students looking for things you can copy and paste into that school report (that you waited until the last minute to start). There is a way to do this properly so that you do not commit plagiarism, which will cause you to fail the assignment and be hunted down by our 'Men In Black.' (No, we don't have a staff of Men In Black to perform such services, although I am taking the idea under advisement). When used for 'scholarly' purposes (like a school report, and not for money), you can quote material from from this site, provided that you state that the material is a quote and that you cite where you got it from. When you do, here is how to cite these pages as the source of the information:

Millis, Marc, G. (yyyy) "Home Page [or the name of whatever page you pulled the information from]," The public website of Tau Zero Foundation, Inc., Fairview Park OH, USA. <http://www.tauzero.aero/index.html [or the URL of the actual page you copied from]> (Accessed yyyy-mm-dd).

Where the first (yyyy) refers to the year of the information (which is listed at the bottom of each page), and where the yyyy-mm-dd refers to the actual year, month, and day that you pulled that information for the site (probably the night before your assignment was due). If the page actually mentions the author, then you would list that author's last name followed by a comma and then their first name at the beginning of your citation – as is shown with my name listed there (yes, I, Marc Millis, wrote the home page and practically all of the first drafts). If the page does not list an author, then just place the words "Tau Zero Foundation" where my name is now shown.
